Wings India 2022, Asia’s biggest event in Civil Aviation, got underway today at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. It is organized through the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India (MoCA) as well as the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) together, the theme for this year’s event is ‘India@75: a New Horizon for the Aviation Industry’. Wings India, a biennial event, will be held from March 24th to 27th, 2022 the first two days being days for business and the remainder open to the public. The event will be officially launched by. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India on the 25th of March 2022.
The elements of the event comprise Exhibition, Conference, Chalets, CEOs Forum, Static Display, Media Conferences and Awards. Conferences on the Civil Aviation sector with focus on business and policy aspects will be held simultaneously. The exhibitors who are participating at the event comprise Aircraft & Helicopter Manufacturers, Aircraft Interiors, Aircraft Machinery & Equipment Companies, Airport Infrastructure Companies, Drones, Skill Development, Space Industry, Airlines, Airline Services & Cargo. There are more than 125 global and domestic exhibitors exhibiting at the exhibition, in addition to eleven hospitality lodges. Representatives from more than 15 nations and States and UTs are also present. This year’s Global Aviation Summit is bringing together aviation ministers and industry chiefs from around the globe.
