Education Qualification – Law graduate degree from a recognized institution as such by Bar Council of India
Extraordinary: Exceptional Law graduate with outstanding academic record in the course of five or three years in Law
Continuous Practice as an Advocate must have been practicing law by acting as an advocate a minimum of three years prior to the last date for submitting the application
Academic Performance Criteria – Achieved a high academic performance in a three-year or five-year course in Law
Successfully passed all tests in the first attempt, and during any semester or year without appearing in any supplementary exams or with ATKT (in the case of applicants who belong to the General category or other Backward Class)
At least 70 percent marks for candidates who fall under the general category or other backward class
At least 50% marks for those in the reserved categories (Scheduled Caste ) or Scheduled Tribe)
